Week 39 and counting...

Well, tonight we decided to take another picture of the ever growing tummy. Like I said in a previous entry, the baby is dropping and you should be able to see the difference between my tummy now and what I looked like back at week 35. Funny, I'm wearing the same shirt and we took the pictures in the same part of the house as we did 4 weeks ago. This was a total coincidence!

Fish & Sunburns

Seth had a great day a couple weeks back. His boss came to pick him up for work in the morning but by the time he arrived the job they were heading to was called off. So, the boys decided to go fishing. Seth came back with a big Black Drum fish and a great sunburn. The filets were about a 1lb. each and very tasty! His sunburn on the other hand was not so wonderful. Thank heavens for Melaleuca lotion and oil.

End of Week 35

This is my tummy at the end of Week 35 of the pregnancy. She's definitely growing!!!!
These pictures were taken on May 31st, 2008.

Pregnancy Update

We are about to enter our 39th week of pregnancy, as of this weekend. We had our 2nd ultrasound on Monday, we're still having a baby girl and she's growing really well! Praise the Lord! They estimated her weight to be around 7lb 4oz +/- 1lb 1oz. I can't imagine she's anywhere close to 8lb but we'll see when she get's here. I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and she said that the baby has started to drop and that I'm starting to "soften". These are good signs that things are progressing as they should be. Our doctor said that first-time pregnancies often come as early as 39 1/2 weeks. So... she said any time after June 24th the baby could arrive. My due date is July 1st so we'll see when she get's here. My mom is coming to visit for 2 weeks on June 29th and I know she's hoping to see me pregnant.
As far as getting "stuff" ready for the baby we're doing pretty good. We've had so many people help and provide us with some great baby gear. We have the crib, dresser, co-sleeper (bassinet), car seat and stroller. The car seat and stroller were given to us by some friends here in Florida. Their son is 9 months old and has grown out of his seat and has moved into a bigger one, so they've allowed us to borrow the car seat for our baby. This is a huge blessing! Plus, a stroller comes with that. Double bonus!!! Seth is working hard on getting things assembled and organized around our house so that we can feel "ready" for when Baby Hardley gets here. Pretty sure Seth is "nesting".
I'm doing well. Feeling more tired than I have for quite a while. Waking up every 2hours to use the bathroom and my lower abdominal muscles are starting to feel sore since the baby is dropping. But the pregnancy has been really easy up to this last month so I'm really not complaining. My tummy is bigger than ever and we'll post some pictures soon.
That's about it for now. Until next time...
