Life at home with Cora

Our first bath was a fun experience. Mom was a little nervous about the water being too hot that Cora was shivering by the end of the bath. We've learned what temp is best.
We have a new swing that we like to swing in and nap in.
Mom and Grandma Strong went and had our hair cut on Saturday. Cora slept in Mommy's sling the whole time we had our hair done. She did so good. We even had lunch at One Flight Up in Mount Dora. The picture of Gina and Cora is on the balcony of the cafe.
We had our first family walk the other night. We tried out the new stroller our friends gave us. Cora is definitely a Florida girl!

Baby Cora Joy Hardley!

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Baby Cora Joy Hardley!

This is three days before her birth!  Pretty good for someone 9+ months pregnant.

This is beautiful Mom, Cora and Dad right after her birth.

Here she is all nudie!

Mommy and Daddy think that she is the most beautiful and amazing thing that has ever happened to them!

Baby Cora Joy Hardley!

We thought that we would do something different in this post for the special occasion!  Introducing the newest addition to the Hardley family, Cora Joy Hardley!  We thought that it would be fun for everyone to get to see a video of our beautiful new baby girl.  She was born on July 5 at 12:26 p.m.  She weighed in at 7 lbs. 15 1/2 oz. and an amazing 21 1/4 in. long.

Due Day! July 1, 2008

So are you wondering what is happening? Is there a new Baby Hardley yet? Well, the answer is not yet. I've been having contractions since Thursday last week and they are becoming more frequent and stronger every day. We're very excited about this. I have an appointment with my doctor this afternoon to see if I've dilated any more. My guess is I have and my mom thinks I should be at 4cm with all the contractions I've been having. We'll see. I'm hoping to go in to the hospital soon. Seth and I are getting very anxious and nervous all at the same time. We have no idea what's in front of us but we've made it through the first 10 months of our marriage and successfully conquered several life changing events. What's one more! Please be praying for a FAST and safe delivery. And most importantly, a healthy baby. We will have pictures posted as soon as we can, she just needs to arrive first!

Week 39 and counting...

Well, tonight we decided to take another picture of the ever growing tummy. Like I said in a previous entry, the baby is dropping and you should be able to see the difference between my tummy now and what I looked like back at week 35. Funny, I'm wearing the same shirt and we took the pictures in the same part of the house as we did 4 weeks ago. This was a total coincidence!

Fish & Sunburns

Seth had a great day a couple weeks back. His boss came to pick him up for work in the morning but by the time he arrived the job they were heading to was called off. So, the boys decided to go fishing. Seth came back with a big Black Drum fish and a great sunburn. The filets were about a 1lb. each and very tasty! His sunburn on the other hand was not so wonderful. Thank heavens for Melaleuca lotion and oil.
