My Social Smile

This is Cora from about 6 weeks to 8 weeks old. She has started to smile when you smile and talk to her. She's becoming more fun every day!

Beach Baby

On Sunday our church went to New Smyrna beach for a baptism and dedication service. Several people were baptized in the ocean and our friends 11 month old son was dedicated. We spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sun and sand. Cora had her first experience at the ocean and she did really good. We kept her out of the sun but she sure had sand all over her when we got home. Cora and Mama enjoyed watching Daddy teach himself how to surf. He's catching on quickly. Soon Cora will be joining him.

Ready for church...

These pictures are from Sunday before we went to church. She's all ready to praise the Lord! Cora's starting to hold her head up on her own. She's growing so much! Who do you think she looks like?

Naptime!

Cora and her daddy love to take naps together. We've found that she sleeps really well on our chest. Seth loves having her sleep on him. They're pretty cute! She's started taking naps in her Pooh Bear crib too! At night she's still sleeping in Mama and Daddy's room though.

Bathtime!

Cora's umbilical cord fell off last week so she started taking real baths! She's enjoying them too.

Cora and Family

There's a proud dad if you ever saw one!

We're a very happy family!

Grandma Strong is very happy to be a grandma! She visited for 2weeks and was able to be here for the birth and the first week at home. Thanks Mom, you were a huge help.

Life at home with Cora

Our first bath was a fun experience. Mom was a little nervous about the water being too hot that Cora was shivering by the end of the bath. We've learned what temp is best.
We have a new swing that we like to swing in and nap in.
Mom and Grandma Strong went and had our hair cut on Saturday. Cora slept in Mommy's sling the whole time we had our hair done. She did so good. We even had lunch at One Flight Up in Mount Dora. The picture of Gina and Cora is on the balcony of the cafe.
We had our first family walk the other night. We tried out the new stroller our friends gave us. Cora is definitely a Florida girl!
